Daniel

Daniel a fost adoptat in Romania.

EN: What are you doing in the evening during the week? You will probably return home from work and can’t  wait to relax. That's what two Noah's Ark volunteers wanted when they were comming back on the highway from a case in Turda. Being almost dark, a white shadow appears among the cars. They quickly stop, it was a puppy. Despite being very scared, he could be caught before being hit by one of the hasty cars passing by him. When the volunteers wanted to leave, a police car stops in the back, and the police officer is preparing to write a fine for an irregular stop on the highway. Hearing the sad story of the puppy, she dropped the fine, and the volunteers came to shelter with the puppy, even though they did not know where and how they could take care of another puppy, besides the 15, already crowded in an improvised enclosure.

We named the puppy, Daniel, after the policeman. He is a puppy aged about 4 months, medium-sized, a little scared still, but when he's with us he feels better, he's got courage. We do not know how he got on the highway, in the field, but we know the day he was found was probably the luckiest of his life, otherwise he would not have had a chance. We hoped that Daniel's story would have an equally lucky ending: finding the family he deserves, never abandoning him again on the highway.
